Keith Tozer

Keith Tozer will reveal the tools needed to become a “Corporate Champion” in today’s rapidly changing corporate environment. These components contributed to making the Milwaukee Wave the 6th time World Champions of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). Speaker Biography

After 28 seasons as an indoor soccer head coach, 20 with the Milwaukee Wave, Keith Tozer has compiled more victories than any other coach in North American indoor soccer history. He has 650 regular-season total victories, and 465 with the Wave. Coach Tozer’s indoor record includes 25 winning seasons, and he was recently named 2012 MISL “Coach of the Year” for a record ninth time. Along his successful career, Tozer has won ten regular season championships with the Wave and six MISL league championships. Recently Tozer surpassed his 700th career victory. He has also coached nine All-Star teams, which is more than any other coach in professional indoor soccer history.

Angela Wick CBAP®, PMP®

Angela WickAngela leads the business analysis practice at Genesis10, chairs the IIBA® Competency Model Committee for IIBA® Headquarters, and teaches business anlysis at the University of Minnesota.

Angela's passion is in helping BAs and organizations maximize BA potential. Through her consulting work she enjoys helping leadership teams of BA CoEs maximize BA practices and competencies and, in teaching, enjoys seeing BAs get motivated to use new skills and think about the potential of the BA role.

Angela's publications include: IIBA® Competency Model v1, v2, v3 as a co-author and committee chair, Co-author of Managing Business Analysts published by IIBA® in Nov 2011 - Angela wrote the chapter on Developing a BA Career Model, and blogger on batimes.com as of Jan 2012.

Barbara von Halle

Barbara von HalleBarbara von Halle is Managing Partner of Knowledge Partners International, LLC (KPI) and co-inventor of The Decision Model.  The fifth recipient of the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award from International DAMA, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.  As an early advocate for the Relational Model, she was the leading columnist in Database Programming and Design Magazine for many years.  Her first book has over 21 printings and cited in over 28 books.  Today she writes a monthly column in Modern Analyst on The Decision Model and assists organization in adopting The Decision Model and establishing Centers of Excellence.

Bob Prentiss, CBAP®


Bob PrentissBob Prentiss is the Client Solutions Director of Business Analysis at Watermark Learning. Bob is CBAP® certified with 20+ years experience in corporate America; managing BA Centers of Excellence, assessing/managing BA maturity, quality and competency.  Bob is the developer of the PMI 2011 Product of the Year: the Project R.E.A.L. (Real Experience Applied Learning) class – a hands-on, live project experience.  Bob stays involved in giving back to the BA community through mentoring and coaching, providing formal training, developing best practices, speaking at industry conferences on topics such as; CBAP® Certification, Centers of Excellence, BA Competency, Requirements Quality, BA Leadership and Careers.  Bob is a founding member and Past President of the IIBA® MSP Chapter wearing several hats on the board, currently serving on the board as the VP of Professional Development. 

Bruce Opsal, CBAP®

Bruce OpsalBruce Opsal, Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®), is an Information Technology (IT) veteran with over 30 years experience in various IT capacities. The majority of his career has been with financial services companies. Previous roles include programmer, analyst, project manager, IT manager, and business analyst. In all those capacities it was the Business Analyst (BA) role Bruce most enjoyed – being the liaison between all stakeholders.

Bruce is Lead Instructor with Requirements Quest. In November 2007 Bruce earned his CBAP® designation from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®). Bruce serves on the board of the Madison chapter of the IIBA® as Vice President of Professional Certification.

A native of Wisconsin, Bruce earned an AA in Data Processing from Madison Area Technical College. While working in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, he earned a BA with a business emphasis from Metro State University. Bruce returned “home” to the Madison area to live, work, and raise his family. Bruce gives back to the community by being active in church, school, civic, and youth sports activities.

Dayle Beyer, CBAP®, ACC, PMP®, PMI-RMP, IT-SVM

Dayle has a BA in Psychology from Stony Brook University and an MBA from Roosevelt University.

Elizabeth Larson, CBAP®, PMP®, CSM

Elizabeth LarsonElizabeth Larson is Co-Principal and CEO of Watermark Learning and has over 25 years of experience in project management and business analysis. She has presented numerous workshops, seminars, and training classes since 1996 to thousands of participants on 3 different continents.

Elizabeth’s speaking history includes repeat presentations at IIBA® and PMI® Global Congresses, chapter meetings and Professional Development Days.

Elizabeth has co-authored the CBAP Certification Study Guide and Practitioners’ Guide to Requirements Management. She has also co-authored numerous articles on project management, business analysis, and influencing skills published worldwide. She has co-authored works published in two compilations, Creating a Clear Project Plan, compiled by Dr., Gary Richardson and published by the University of Houston. The other, Projects Without Borders: Gathering Requirements on a Multi-Cultural Project, published by Icfai University Press. She has also been cited in CIO and PM Network, PMI’s monthly publication.

Elizabeth was a lead contributor to the PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition (Collect Requirements), to the BABOK® Guide 2.0 chapter Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, to a White Paper on the collaboration between the PM and BA, and is the content lead for Scope Management for the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition. Elizabeth writes a monthly blog for and is co-author of articles that appear regularly in ProjectTimes and BATimes.

Elizabeth graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA degree in English and a BS in Education from the University of Arizona. She also has a Master of Arts in English from the University of Minnesota.

Gary Rush, CPF

Gary RushGary Rush, IAF CPF, Founder and President of MGR Consulting, Inc., attended the U.S. Naval Academy. He has managed projects since 1980, been facilitating since 1983, and providing Facilitator training since 1985. He is amongst the most successful and influential Facilitator Trainers in the world. Gary teaches specific “how to” with an understanding of the “why” to perform as an effective Facilitator; he provides detailed Facilitator and process tools and, as an IAF CPF Assessor, he covers the IAF Core Facilitator Competencies. He improves client business performance through effective application of exceptional facilitation processes. He is an expert at engaging participants and guiding them to consensus.

In 1985, Gary created FAST. In 2007, Gary created FoCuSeD – the most complete, most comprehensive, and most effective Facilitator class available, providing detailed training on the concepts of Holistic Facilitation.

Since 1985, Gary has designed and delivered well over a dozen different classes focusing on facilitation, diversity, team building, leadershp, presentation skills, data modeling, problem solving, and strategic planning. He has written numerous "how to" books and has taught in 8 countries teaching over 4000 people. He is a Thiagi Certified Trainer enabling him to enhance his training through effective, highly interactive learning activities. Gary is a former Chair of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) and continues to be the leading-edge in the industry by continuing as a practicing Facilitator.

Glenn Brûlé, CBAP®, CSM

As one of ESI’s subject matter experts, Glenn works directly with clients to build and mature their business analysis capabilities by drawing from the broad range of learning resources ESI offers.

A recognized expert in the creation and maturity of Business Analysis Centers or Excellence, Glenn has helped almost a dozen clients in the energy, financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, insurance and automotive industries, as well as government agencies across the world. His approach to maturing requirements management and development capabilities focuses on short-term reductions in costs, resources and time to market while charting a path to long-term change that drives organizations competitively forward.

Traveling extensively to speak at conferences, work with clients and help build local chapters of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), Glenn is afforded a rare global viewpoint on the state of BA.
